Medicare Insurance Information

We are in network providers with Medicare only. We are no longer in network with major medical insurance.

However, you can take advantage of our discounted rates, provided the payment is made on the day the treatment is rendered (a.k.a. time-of-service). Oftentimes, these rates are actually lower than your in network rates.

If you would like to make an appointment, you can submit your patient registration information online using this LINK. With this page, you will be able to request an appointment time, but please wait for us to call you back to confirm if that time is available. Please allow us two business days from when you submit your paperwork to get back with you. Should you need to reach us sooner to schedule an appointment, please call us at (713) 490-2225 during our regular business hours or leave a message.

If you would like us to check your Medicare information before your scheduled appointment, please submit your information using these ONLINE FORMS or call with the information at least two business days ahead of your appointment.

Although we are not in network with major medical insurance, we can provide you a detailed receipt so you can file an out-of-network claim. If you would like information on how to submit out-of-network claims, click this LINK. If you need more information, feel free to contact us.

Frequently Asked Questions

You got Questions. We got Answers

  • What services do you offer?

We offer several chiropractic techniques, acupuncture, massage therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise rehabilitation. For a full list of the services we offer, visit Our Services Page.

  • Are your doctors Webster certified?

All our Doctors of Chiropractic are Webster certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (14 hours). Not only that, but each has taken over 300 hours of additional coursework, training, and research through ICPA to obtain their Certification from the American Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP).  This special designation is attained by only a small percentage of chiropractors who are dedicated to pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic and pass the rigorous examination. We have more certified chiropractors than any chiropractic office in Texas!

  • What about my child, can they get adjusted as well?

Yes, we have done adjustments for babies as new as a few hours old. We can help with colic, ear infections, acid reflux, feeding issues, tension and stiffness, as well as babies who have plagiocephaly – flatness on side of their head. For other ways we can help children, visit our Pediatric page.

  • How long are the massages?

We offer massages in 45 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes increments.

  • How long can I expect to be there for my new patient appointment?

New patient appointments last anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.

  • How much does a new patient appointment cost if I’m paying cash?

Depending on what you are seeing us for and the services you receive, your estimated cost for a new patient exam, adjustment, and therapies could range anywhere from $200-$160. Your second appointment could range from $125-$90. Follow-up appointments can range from $90-$50.

  • What will happen during my new patient appointment?

There will be the requisite new patient forms and waivers to sign, and we also have several computer kiosks on which to enter more detailed information about your symptoms and what has brought you to our clinic.  During your time with the Doctor of Chiropractic, we do a new patient exam which consists of but is not limited to reviewing your medical history, current symptoms, range of motion, orthopedic, neurological tests, thermal imaging using an infrared scanner, and also evaluating your spinal muscle tone using a static electromyogram (sEMG).  These last two scans are completely noninvasive and will not harm any pregnant or pediatric patients. From there we can determine if you need any modalities, as well as do an adjustment or acupuncture for you.

  • Is it better to get my adjustment before my massage or exercises, or after?

Ideally it is better to do the adjustment after receiving massage and/or exercises. The massages and exercises help warm up your muscles, relieving built up tension and making the adjustments easier.

  • What are you doing about COVID-19?

The following regulations have been established with the safety of our patients and staff in mind:

    • Social distancing and hand hygiene should always be followed.
    • HEPA filters are placed throughout the office to filter the air.
    • Our patients are scheduled to reduce overcrowding and allow time for the providers to disinfect the tables and sanitize the rooms between patient visits.
    • Patients with a temperature of over 101oF will not be allowed to enter and asked to reschedule.
    • Patients who have fever, chills, general malaise, and are acutely ill should not come to the office, but rather reschedule or schedule a telehealth appointment.

Please visit our COVID-19 updates page for more information.

  • What do you do acupuncture for?

We do acupuncture for a variety of symptoms, ranging from headaches to acute injuries, such as ankle sprains. For more information about our acupuncture services, visit our Acupuncture page.

  • Do you take my insurance?

As of January 2019, our office is only in network with Medicare. However, with rising insurance rates, we have found that our prices are very reasonable for our experience level. In fact, sometimes it may be the same or cheaper than your specialist co-pay. Does insurance cover massage? Some insurances cover a portion of the massage, but there is a chance it won’t be covered. To find out if yours does, you can ask your insurance company how they cover massage with out of network providers. As of January 2019, our office is only in network with Medicare.
