BOOKING IN OFFICE APPOINTMENTS
West University Wellness has continued to monitor the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.
We’ve resumed normal scheduling for all chiropractic, acupuncture, reiki, yoga, wellness, and massage therapy patients with safety protocols surpassing CDC requirements.
We are currently operating at our regular schedule
We are confident we can provide a safe environment in accordance with CDC guidelines and provide superior chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, nutrition, prenatal, and pediatric holistic care.
Currently, we are able to schedule all chiropractic acupuncture and massage therapy patients.
For now, our office continues to operate on our regular schedule with ample time between appointments to reinforce proper social distancing protocols. We ask you to please be patient with us as we navigate these difficult times and continue to provide you with the excellent service you deserve. The following regulations have been established with the safety of our patients and staff in mind:
- Social distancing and hand hygiene should always be followed.
- Patients with a temperature of over 101oF will not be allowed to enter and asked to reschedule.
- Patients who have fever, chills, general malaise, and are acutely ill should not come to the office, but rather reschedule.
During the telehealth appointment, we will discuss your symptoms and determine the most appropriate treatment plan, including recommending an in-office visit when necessary. The care offered by our specialists is far superior when we can examine the patient in the office.
We have a wealth of products and supplements to enhance your immune system and help improve your ergonomics and musculoskeletal health while you are at home. FREE COVID TESTING SITES (ANTIGEN)– We are only offering this information as a resource. We are not affiliated with any of the sites listed below.
Walgreens: two locations are offering drive-through testing for up to 200 people per day. (Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM, 7 days a week, pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances.) Patients interested will need to register and secure an appointment in advance. To get tested, you will take an online screening questionnaire available via the link on ReadyHarris.org, the Walgreens website, or the Walgreens mobile app. (Link FYI: https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/covid19/testing?ban=covid_testing) You’ll receive results within 24 hours.
Houston Health Department Community Drive-Thru Sites
Any Houstonian, regardless of symptoms, may receive a FREE COVID-19 test at their drive-thru testing sites. Call 832-393-4220 for access code and directions to the nearest site.
HCPH encourages residents to get tested for COVID-19 if you feel you have it or have been in contact with someone who tested positive. HCPC is prioritizing their first responders and healthcare professionals, especially those who work with vulnerable populations such as nursing homes, to seek testing as well.
